Outkast - Idlewild

Saiu no dia 21 de Agosto o novo album dos Outkast. Conheci estes dois rapazes com o fantástico album duplo Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, em que particularmente esta 2º parte era das coisas mais fascinantes que se tinham fabricado musicalmente no novo milénio. Do que conheci à posteriori da carreira anterior dos Outkast, falávamos de Hip Hop "old school" do tipo que cria bocejos a não ser para fãs hardcore... mas nesse fantástico album de 2003, uma mistura de muitas referências fizeram, principalmente no album dentro do Album "The Love Below", uma obra prima daquelas imperdiveis em qualquer discografia. Aqui fica uma crítica tirada na Amazon já sobre o novo album... promete.

"This is just my personal opinion, but I think "Idlewild" is better than "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below." I thought the previous album was somewhat uneven. I think this album has greater continuity despite it coinciding with their movie. It seems like both Andre 3000 and Big Boi are on the same page with this project. I think this CD is just more interesting. Sure it's different than their last, but to me "Idlewild" is a HUGE improvement. Outkast just keeps getting better. I hope this isn't their last project together. I'm looking forward to the movie also. I would recommend not rushing to judgment. This is a high quality album."
